You 'player'/get to Heroes Ascent by getting 10 conseq in RA and then getting 5 conseq in TA. Once you do this HA will open up.
To play in HA you need a party of 8. But, accomplishing the task of getting INTO an HA match will be quite difficult if you're not decently ranked. See this and this for further info. p.s. ----- There is no such thing as a "stupid question" when being completely serious/honest. ~LeNa~

Slightly off - 10 consecutive wins in Random Arenas to open Team Arenas, and then 5 Team Arena wins opens Heroes' Ascent. The TA wins don't have to be consecutive.
EDIT: actually, wiki says it's only 5 consecutive in RA to open TA. Could've sworn it was 10. Last edited by zelgadissan; Sep 17, 2009 at 11:42 PM // 23:42.. |

Wait how do I get in "Random Arenas" in the first place? It's not anywhere on the map. I can't find the arena guard for it in the Great Temple of Balthasar.
Edit Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh I just found out you have to go into "Isle of the Nameless." That's stupid why they put it in there. Sorry I'm so clueless about PvP :'( Last edited by ZamFireball; Sep 18, 2009 at 12:59 AM // 00:59.. |

The other thing is, being so new to pvp and only having prophecies (and thus prophecies skills) available to you, you're not going to get very far in hero's ascent. My advice would be to play some pve on different characters, unlock skills, learn how to do things, then try pvp.

Yeah ok. I played through the PvE campaign but I never tried to PvP before. Someone told me I should try "Hero's Ascent" but looking at the links it sounds pretty rough so I changed my mind about it.
Thanks guys |

If your looking at getting into PvP try RA, you will probably get annoyed a lot, but its the best beginner PvP you can get without access to Factions.
